Thick and Rich Orebody Found at Gorkonda Gold Mine in the United States

Gordes 50 announced that it has seen large-scale high-grade gold mineralization in the Golconda project in Arizona, which indicates that there is a large deposit in the deep.

The wide spacing drilling completed in April revealed a deposit of 35 meters at a depth of 177 meters, with a gold grade of 5.2 grams per ton and a silver grade of 5.9 grams per ton. This includes mineralization with a thickness of 9 meters, a gold grade of 19.6 grams per ton, and a silver grade of 17.8 grams per ton. The final ore body did not penetrate.

Another borehole under the old mining project revealed 11 meters of gold at a depth of 61 meters, with a gold grade of 1.2 grams per ton, silver at 399 grams per ton, copper at 0.31%, and zinc at 0.55%.

The company's preliminary plan aims to better understand the ore control structures and link the main structures with high grade.

Limited drilling range of 250 meters × 1500 meters, with the development of alteration, quartz veins, and sulfides.

These 12 holes are the results of the first modern systematic exploration of the Gorkonda old mining site and the first new discovery in decades.

Before 1917, the mine was mined to a depth of 500 meters, but due to a fire that destroyed the infrastructure, it was later used as a temporary storage site.

The mine was originally a base metal mine, and gold and silver were by-products. However, the company's model shows that precious metals are mostly found in veins running north and south, and have not been taken as targets, and preliminary drilling confirmed this model.

The company stated that there is still a lot of work to be done at the mine, but currently there are only two diamond drills and 12 reverse circulation drills.

Based on the collected data, the company will conduct research on the relationship between gold and iron bearing minerals, and determine a second drilling plan in the fourth quarter.
