How to adjust the discharge gap of the impact crusher

The counterattack device usually comes with a discharge gap adjustment mechanism. By adjusting the discharge gap, the number of impacts on the material can be changed, thereby affecting the composition of product particle size to varying degrees.

The dual rotor Impact Crusher needs to be adjusted appropriately due to the requirements of product particle size or the wear of components such as the plate hammer, mainly adjusting the gap between the cavity impact plate, the second impact plate, and the uniform sieve plate and the end point of the plate hammer. The first impact plate is used to coordinate with the adjustment of the split cavity impact plate, in order to maintain an approximate arc shaped impact crusher. When adjusting the split cavity impact plate, twisting the positioning nut can change the gap with the end point of the rotor plate hammer. When adjusting the gap, the spring pre-stress must be adjusted accordingly. The adjustment of the clearance between the endpoints of the second impact plate, uniform sieve plate, and second rotor plate hammer is achieved by adjusting the corresponding springs.

Reasons for Excessive Discharge of the Impact Crusher

Advantages of impact crusher:

1. Excessive wear on the hammer or counterattack lining plate.

Causing excessive clearance between the hammer and the impact lining plate, resulting in excessive discharge particles. At this point, we need to promptly inspect and replace the replacement hammer or impact lining plate.

2. Excessive feed size is also a reason.

When the particle size and flow rate of the feed are both large, it will cause the crushing chamber of the impact crusher to form a full load phenomenon. At this time, it is easy for the material to be discharged from the discharge port before being fully crushed in the crushing chamber, resulting in excessive discharge particles. Users should choose the appropriate feed particle size based on the actual situation.

3. Material is a major factor affecting the particle size of the counterattack discharge.

The increase in discharge particle size is due to the material being too wet. The solution is to equip heating devices in the feed chute and impact plate parts of the impact crusher.

Daily maintenance of impact crusher

1. The operation point of the impact crusher is stable. When the vibration of the machine suddenly increases, it should be stopped immediately to identify the cause and eliminate it.

2. When the wear of the hammer reaches the limit mark, it should be turned around or replaced in a timely manner.

3. Before starting each machine, it is necessary to check the fastening status of all bolts.

4. After assembling or replacing the plate hammer, the rotor must be kept balanced, and the static balance must not exceed 0.25kg/m

5. Under normal circumstances, the length of the bearing should not exceed 35 degrees, and the newer temperature should not exceed 70 degrees. If it exceeds 70 degrees, it should be stopped immediately to identify the cause.

6. When the frame liner is worn, it should be replaced in a timely manner to avoid wearing the casing.
