Repair and maintenance methods of cone crusher

The Cone Crusher mainly includes three systems: mechanical, hydraulic, and lubrication. Its structure is relatively complex, and the manufacturing accuracy of mechanical components is relatively high. It requires good maintenance and upkeep to operate normally for a long time. Below is a detailed introduction to the working principle and maintenance methods of the cone crusher.

1. Introduction to the working principle of cone crusher

The main components of the cone crusher include a frame, transmission shaft, eccentric sleeve, spherical bearing, crushing cone, adjustment device, adjustment sleeve, spring, and feeding port. During operation, the electric motor drives the eccentric sleeve to rotate through the transmission device, and the moving cone rotates and swings under the force of the eccentric shaft sleeve. The section where the moving cone is close to the static cone becomes the crushing chamber, and the material is crushed by multiple compressions and impacts of the moving cone and the static cone. When the moving cone leaves the section, the material that has already broken to the required particle size falls under its own gravity and is discharged from the bottom of the cone to complete the crushing operation.

2. Maintenance and repair of the three major systems of cone crusher

(1). Mechanical system

The gear transmission system and eccentric sleeve bearing device in the mechanical system are the main maintenance objects. The gear transmission system is the core of the equipment, and maintenance mainly involves ensuring that the lubrication system is in good working condition and adjusting the fit clearance between the bevel gear and the large ring gear. The eccentric sleeve device is the main bearing of the equipment, and the sliding mode can provide bearing function and stress function. Under sufficient lubrication conditions, the tapered eccentric sleeve bearing can be used normally for a long time.

(2). Hydraulic system

The adjustment function of the hydraulic system is strong. In the case of spring cone breakage and multi cylinder cone breakage, the hydraulic system mainly plays a role in cleaning the cavity and protecting the iron. In the case of single cylinder cone crusher, the hydraulic system also plays a role in regulating the discharge port. It is necessary to maintain the hydraulic system of the cone crusher, especially the inspection and maintenance of filter components and sensors.

(3). Lubrication system

The lubrication system can provide sufficient lubricating oil for the cone crusher, ensuring the safe operation of transmission components under severe stress, and is a crucial auxiliary device. If the lubrication system malfunctions and the linkage safety device fails, it is highly likely to cause destructive damage to the equipment.

Additionally. The lubrication system and hydraulic system of cone breaking equipment are usually designed and manufactured as a whole, and the clear boundary between the two cannot be seen from the appearance. However, lubricating fluid and hydraulic oil are two types of fluids and should not be mixed or misused.
