How to determine if the components of a jaw crusher need to be replaced

It is favored and loved by many users. However, jaw crushers are often used for coarse crushing work, often in contact with crushing large stones. Many vulnerable parts are prone to wear and tear during work, and need to be replaced in a timely manner. How to determine if jaw crusher components need to be replaced?

1. Replacement of jaw plate

The service life of the jaw plate mainly depends on the production time and degree of damage, and the service life and wear degree of different materials are also different.

2. Shaft replacement

If the wear of the shaft is minimal, just to repair its geometric shape, it can be turned on a lathe to achieve the correct geometric shape of the journal, and then the bearing inner diameter can be reduced accordingly. But after several such treatments, if the journal size is reduced by 5% compared to the original, it is no longer allowed to be turned and a new shaft should be replaced.

3. Replacement of lining plate

The fixed jaw lining plate (tooth plate), movable jaw lining plate (tooth plate), and both side lining plates (guard plate) of the jaw crusher are prone to wear and tear. If the wear is fast, it will affect the product specifications. When the lining plate is initially worn, the lining plate can be turned around for use, or the upper and lower parts can be turned around for use. The wear of the jaw plate is mostly concentrated at the middle and bottom. When the tooth plate is worn out by 3/5, the lining plate needs to be replaced. When the lining plates on both sides are worn out by 2/5, they also need to be replaced.

4. Replacement of bracket

When the elbow plate is rapidly worn or broken, it is necessary to first remove the stones in the crushing chamber, remove the worn or broken elbow plate, inspect the movable jaw and the elbow plate on the connecting rod for damage, and then pull the movable jaw to the fixed jaw. After lubricating the working surface of the elbow plate with dry oil, replace it with a new thrust plate, gradually contact it with the working surface of the elbow plate, and tighten the tension rod to make the movable jaw clamp the thrust plate, tighten the safety cover, and connect the lubrication system, Then adjust the size of the discharge port.

5. Replacement of eccentric shaft and bearing box

If the eccentric shaft and bearing box are worn and their space exceeds 1.5 times the original installation configuration space, they need to be cushioned for adjustment or replacement; The oil groove is worn by 1.5mm and should be reopened and adjusted; When the space between the upper cover of the connecting rod head and the eccentric shaft is worn to more than 1.5 times the installation configuration space, it also needs to be padded for adjustment or replacement.
